Trips and Treks over India...

Normally my trips are on my Royal Enfield but this time it was a four wheeler. For a biker it's bit less unsatisfying to do a trip in the hilly road on a car. Day1: ------ Arya, Jitendra and myself started our trip from Delhi to Lansdowne around 11:30 AM on 22nd Oct. It was our 1st car trip in the north. We normally roam around Delhi and NCR. It was our 1st unplanned/unprepared trip. We only know we will go to Lansdowne and will decide there for the next destination. Bit excited about such a trip. While reaching Najibabad it's almost 8 PM. After that it's the hilly road waiting for us. We were bit worried as for Arya as he never drove car in hills before that and that to in  winter night. By the time we approach the hills it was chilled outside. Luckily it was the moon day not fully though. We spent around 30 min after reaching half of the hill beneath the moon light and chilly wind from the uphills. Just missing the campfire and roasted chicken. W...

OMG, What a trek that was to Triund... We are four friends(Arya, Jitendra , Sumit and myself) decided to go for hill station ride for a weekend gateway from delhi. Arya came with the idea to go to Triund. Prior to this trip I heard about snowfall used to happen in Triund during March. So went for it after checking weather report as usual. Started from Delhi early morning by car so that we could able to reach Mcleodganj before nightfall as we never been to that hill station. Triund is just 9 km from Mcleodganj. Mcleodganj is said to the home of Dalai Lama. You can witness if you reach the hill station by seeing the monuments and temples. After having a delicious breakfast in murthal we headed for Mcleodganj. ust 2-3 small breaks and 2-3 showers of rain reached Dharmashala. Bit traffic jam for out side vehicle check-up for the up-coming cricket match supposed to happen in dharmshala. By 8pm we reached Mcleodganj. And we came to that all hotels near th...
